Dhurandhar follows an undercover Indian intelligence agent operating inside Karachi’s criminal world in Pakistan. The agent’s mission is to break a terror network aimed at India. The film is planned as two parts, with the second chapter, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, releasing in cinemas on 19 March 2026.

The announcement carried the message, "Ladies and Gentlemen, ab aa gaya hai waqt bigadne ka Aa raha hai Dhurandhar ka World TV Premiere, 30th May, raat 7 baje, sirf Star Gold par (sic)." The post highlighted the film’s first screening on Indian television.
