MasterChef India 9 is moving towards its second phase, with four family pairs already out and eight still competing. The latest MasterChef India 9 elimination saw Mumbai sisters Deepali Bihani and Jamuna Somani leave the kitchen on 13 February, finishing in 9th place after a tense cook-off.

The first MasterChef India 9 elimination of the season happened on 23 January, when Raksha and Kanchana Devi from Bir, Himachal Pradesh got evicted and secured the 12th place. On 30 January, Jhansi pair Vishnu and Harshini Purohit, a father-in-law and daughter-in-law duo, were sent home in 11th place, followed by Bikaner’s mother-son team Parvati and Himang Soni on 06 February, who ended their journey in 10th place.
