The climactic episode featured legendary Chef Sanjeev Kapoor joining the regular judging panel of Chef Vikas Khanna, Chef Ranveer Brar, and Chef Kunal Kapur. Together, the four chefs evaluated the final dishes, while also reflecting on how the season honoured Indian flavours, cultural roots, and close personal relationships.

Chef Sanjeev Kapoor spoke about returning to the show and said, "Over the years, MasterChef and I have shared a long-standing association built on a common vision, to celebrate India's diverse culinary heritage and to give passionate cooks a national platform. What makes this season special is how it reflects a confident, forward-moving India, ambitious and proud of its roots. The contestants aren't just showcasing their skills, but also representing their states, their hometowns, and their culinary heritage with pride. This time India won't just get one winner, but two chefs who will rise together from this incredible platform."

MasterChef India final three pairs and emotional journey

The contest narrowed to three pairs that reflected different family bonds and emotional journeys. The final line-up featured Vikram and Ajinkya as brothers, Saisree and Chanda as a mother-daughter team, and Anju and Manju as sisters, each pair cooking under pressure while sharing personal stories through their plates.

Challenges across the season tested technique, creativity, and resilience, while also highlighting diverse Indian relationships. Tasks often required coordination between partners, and the path to the trophy demanded consistency. Vikram and Ajinkya’s performance across these rounds convinced the judges that the duo could handle both flavour and teamwork at the highest level.

Looking back at the season’s end, Chef Vikas Khanna said, "As this season comes to a close and life returns to its everyday rhythm, the memories we created together will stay with us forever. Every winner carries the MasterChef legacy forward, and I truly hope Vikram and Ajinkya continue to shine and inspire many more."

Sharing similar feelings, Chef Ranveer Brar remarked, "MasterChef India has always been more than work, it's family. Goodbyes are never easy, but I firmly believe the best always wins, and this season was no exception. Vikram and Ajinkya proved that with every dish."

Chef Kunal Kapur reflected on the standard reached by this Jodi edition and said, "This season has truly been one of the finest we have witnessed so far. The level of talent, creativity, and resilience displayed by the contestants has set a new benchmark. I have seen the grit in Vikram and Ajinkya's eyes, and that determination has rightfully earned them this victory. I feel immensely proud to have been part of a journey that celebrated such extraordinary passion and excellence."

As this chapter of MasterChef India ends, the show leaves behind strong images of laughter, pressure tests, celebrations, and personal growth for contestants and viewers. It again underlined that food carries emotion, identity, and stories on every plate, while continuing to motivate home cooks across India to aim higher in their kitchens.
