The 50 Episode 31: Shields, Sacrifices & Silent Deals: How Alliances Cracked Inside The Arena
Episode 31 of The 50 streaming on Jiohotstar and airing on Colors shook things up and tore apart the Palace's most carefully built alliances. Between a wild Lion Crazy Game, a tough two bracket Arena battle, and the Red Joker card already shaking things up, the episode showed clearly who's watching out for whom and what they're willing to give up to do it.
1. Rajat's Team wins the Joker Card

Rajat's team ended up taking home the real prize which is the Joker card. The episode started with the Lion Crazy Game, a water transfer challenge where three captains, Rajat, Prince, and Archana, each took charge of a team with two players. The task was to fill a marked container up to the 5-litre line using only hands or clothes, without using mugs or bowls. Each team took their turn, racing against various time limits and competing for different amounts of prize money. Prince's team got 20 minutes and ₹50,000 to work with; Archana's had 15 minutes and ₹35,000; Rajat's time was the shortest, only 10 minutes for ₹25,000. All three teams finished the task and raised the Money Pot from ₹20,24,000 to ₹21,34,000. But the real reward wasn't the money, it was the Red Joker Card, given to the first team that reached the 5-litre mark. Rajat's team grabbed the waterproof jacket and filled it up in one smooth move, making sure they got it. When voting rounds can decide everything, having a card you can play during voting is way more valuable than any prize money.
2. Prince's Silent Pact

Before anyone even went for a flag in the Arena, Prince had already made a quiet agreement with Lovekesh to keep Shiv, Siwet, and Hamid safe from any immediate threats. The deal was straightforward: protect the strong players and put the pressure on someone else. The names floating as targets, Riddhima, Nehal, and Shiny, weren't picked just by chance. They were planned sacrifices meant to protect the people Prince truly trusted. Prince strategically made Divya the mole by intentionally taking the bullets early on. During the round, she deliberately took the wrong route, allowing more bullets to hit her. His plan ultimately worked. Divya's team lost the task, while Prince's team secured the win. When you're building alliances in The 50, the key is to never seem like you're making moves, even if you're the one pulling all the strings.
3. Nehal vs Siwet

Nehal and Siwet faced off against each other. The first Arena match was between Nehal's team and Siwet's. Players slipped up, grabbed the wrong flags, forgot their paths, and got shot while running. Karan had a hard time with the physical challenges, Urvashi got caught under falling blocks and tangled nets, and Rajat ended up completely disoriented . Even with all the chaos, Nehal's team kept their cool, only giving up two hits while Siwet's team let in four. After the loss, Siwet's team had to send three players into the danger zone: Siwet, Sammy, and Shiny. Yuvika was clearly left out, probably because of vote strength, showing that even choices made after losing can be part of a bigger plan. After the round, things got even tenser when Siwet snapped at Nehal over her "oye hoye" comment, accusing her of having once been desperate to stay in the game. What began as a small jab about the captaincy had turned into one of the episode's main rivalries.
4. Divya's Questionable Detour

The second bracket, Krishna vs Vanshaj, brought its own kind of fresh chaos. Prince took two hits early on, which put his team under pressure right away. Archana and Faisu both forgot to bring their flags. Sapna hurt her leg halfway through the task. Dino and Arbaaz kept messing up, and in the end, Dino didn't manage to bring back any flag at all. The moment that really caught everyone's attention was when Divya seemed to purposely lose her way. It didn't seem like confusion at all, but more like a deliberate decision that fits with Prince's bigger plan. If that's true, it would mean Prince's influence reached beyond his own bracket and affected a completely different match. Divya quietly stepping back to support a bigger plan is the kind of selfless move that often goes unnoticed. When the final count was done, Krishna's team had four hits and Vanshaj's had five, pushing Vanshaj's side closer to the danger zone where unsafe names will be revealed in the next episode.
