The Twisha Sharma death controversy has taken another explosive turn after a purported audio recording involving her mother-in-law surfaced online, triggering widespread outrage across social media. The clip allegedly captures a conversation between Twisha's brother, Major Harshit Sharma, and her mother-in-law, Giribala Singh, in which deeply personal remarks about the former model's private life were discussed, as reported by Times Now.
The leaked exchange has intensified accusations of emotional harassment and mental trauma inside Twisha's matrimonial home, with many questioning the environment she was allegedly subjected to before her death.
In the audio, Giribala Singh is allegedly heard saying that "promiscuity can be a habit" while defending remarks previously made to Twisha. Another section of the clip reportedly includes disturbing comparisons between Twisha's past relationships and women involved in prostitution.
She allegedly claimed that Twisha had once worked in Reshampura, Gwalior, and "worked with prostitutes," before adding, "some people sell their brains, so they earn... some people sell their bodies, so they earn." The controversial statements have further fueled public anger as the debate around whether Twisha Sharma's death was suicide or murder continues to intensify.

Speaking to TN, Twisha Sharma's sister-in-law Rashi Sharma opened up about the former model's emotional final conversation with her family, revealing the pain and distress Twisha had allegedly been facing before her death. "We haven't even had the chance to mourn or accept that she is no more. It is saddening. We are just seeking justice for her. Everything has been looked into, yet we fail to understand why the second post-mortem has been rejected," Rashi said while expressing the family's frustration over the ongoing investigation.
Rashi further alleged that Twisha had repeatedly spoken about harassment by her husband, Samarth Singh, and had expressed a strong desire to leave her marital home. "Twisha regularly mentioned harassment by Samarth Singh," she claimed. Recalling the ex-model's final interaction with the family during a conference call, Rashi added, "We want to grieve. We want to cremate her the way it should be done. Twisha was stressed and upset because of the actions of Samarth Singh. In her last conversation with us during a conference call, she said, 'I want to come back home. I want to do my job and leave this shit behind.'"
