Bhola Shankar is megastar Chiranjevvi;s latest action drama directed by Meher Ramesh. The movie is an official remake of the Tamil film Vedalam, starring Ajith. The movie opened to worldwide viewers on August 10.

Upon its theatrical release, megastar Chiranjeevi's fans are mostly disappointed with how Bhola Shankar turned out. Though they enjoyed the veteran's epic timing and screen presence, the movie on the whole became an underwhelming one.
