Dasara: Nani-Keerthy Suresh-Dheekshith Shetty's Mass Drama By Srikanth Odela Achieves Break-Even Within 5 Days

Nani's latest blockbuster, Dasara, a village-based revenge drama by debut director Srikanth Odela is running successfully at theatres all over the country and in a few parts of the world. The movie, which has been reviewed as a career's best for Natural star Nani, has achieved break-even. Dasara is one of the very few films to reach this feat within five days of its theatrical release.

In addition, the movie's openings overseas have surpassed that of Allu Arjun's Pushpa 1 and Mahesh Babu's Maharshi. The weekend collection of Dasara is the second-highest in the country in 2023, after Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan. To date, Dasara bagged Rs 87 Crore worldwide at the box office.

Dasara movie stars Keerthy Suresh, Dheekshith Shetty, Sai Kumar, Samuthirakani, Shine Tom Chacko, Shamna Kasim, and Jhansi among several new actors in important characters.

The cinematography by Sathyan Sooryan for Dasara has been receiving great applause. Naveen Nooli worked as the film's editor and Santhosh Narayanan composed the background score and tunes for Dasara.

Along with Srikanth Odela the director, Jella Srinath, Arjuna Paturi, and Vamsi Krishna P wrote the film's story and script.

Sudhakar Cherukuri of Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas banner scored a first and massive hit under their productions with Dasara. Although the initial budget was Rs 35 Crore, the makers have decided to release the venture as a pan-India film and spent a total of Rs 65 Crore on Dasara.
