Prabhas turned heads at the prestigious Comic-Con 2023 in San Diego, USA on July 20. The actor, whose first look from Project K was subjected to huge trolling looked unperturbed by the response to the first look poster and made a stylish appearance at the event.

The internet and Indian media celebrated Project K as the grand unveiling of Kalki2898AD took place at the prestigious San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC), where the film captivated audiences with its visionary concept and spellbinding visuals. The new title perfectly encapsulates the essence of the film, generating curiosity and excitement among fans and cinephiles worldwide.

According to the filmmakers- Nag Ashwin, the writer-director and the production house Vyjayanthi Movies, Project K Aka Kalki2898AD is a trailblazing science fiction saga and it is going to be one like never before and ever after.

Vyjayanthi Movies, the esteemed production house, has astounded fans with the momentous glimpse of their highly-anticipated film, now officially titled Kalki2898AD. This cinematic masterpiece has been hailed as a seamless fusion of science fiction and unprecedented storytelling, setting new benchmarks for the genre. The movie is made on a budget of about Rs 600 Crore, although it has kept increasing from when it was first conceived.

While some of them thought the movie is interesting, a section was also divided on the weapons they used in the glimpse, the set-up, as well as the Hindutva connection to the film. One user also commented, "The glimpse looks great after lowering our expectations with that cheap first look poster."
