Guntur Kaaram: Mahesh Babu Becomes Emotional; Says To Fans, 'You Are My Mother, My Father & Everything...'

The much-awaited and highly anticipated first biggest movie of superstar Mahesh Babu in 2024, Guntur Kaaram, is all ready to set fire to the existing box office records. Written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas, the family action drama is going to be released all over the world on January 12.

In Guntur Kaaram, Mahesh Babu tried something different with his looks, body language, makeover, accent, and performance, which often become a character in Trivikram's films. The actor-director duo is coming together after 12 years for the third time for Guntur Kaaram.

The movie featured Sreeleela and Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female leads opposite Mahesh Babu, marking their first-ever collaboration with the superstar of Tollywood. The theatrical trailer showcased the actors and the plot in great light and needless to say, Trivikram's films have an impact.

Guntur Kaaram theatrical trailer already achieved the feat of becoming South India's most-viewed trailer despite being a regional film with a non-pan-India release. The superstar broke his records and exceeded expectations.

Mahesh Babu Becomes Emotional During Pre-Release Event Speech

The pre-release event of Guntur Kaaram was held on January 9 near Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. Speaking on the occasion, Mahesh Babu became visibly emotional, as it was his first time coming to the public after losing his mother and father. The actor faced a void after the death of his brother followed by his mother and father. Talking to a sea of fans, he said, "You are my mother, my father, and everything."

He elaborated, "Sankranti is a special release time for me and my father. We both saw several hits during the season. I used to wait for my father's phone call after the release of my film. But, this time only you have to tell," said Mahesh as his eyes and tone got muffled.

Guntur Kaaram features Mahesh Babu, Sreeleela, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Jagapathi Babu, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, Ramya Krishnan, Sunil, Brahmanandam, Raghu Babu, Mahesh Achanta among others in key roles.

The movie is being made on a massive budget of Rs 200 Crore. Trivikram Srinivas is the director and writer. S Radha Krishna is producing the movie under the Haarika and Hassine Creations banner. Thaman S is scoring the film's entire background score and tunes. Naveen Nooli and PS Vinod are working as the editor and cinematographer of Guntur Kaaram.
