Tollywood Mourns Ramoji Rao's Death: Legendary Ramoji Rao, a businessman and media entrepreneur, who made the epic Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad, passed away during the wee hours on June 8. The veteran was 87 at the time of his death, which was caused by severe and prolonged respiratory illness. Condolences are pouring in from all over the world as this terrific personality passed away, leaving behind a legacy and tons of inspiration for the people.

Politicians, filmmakers, actors, techinicians, and industrialists have been making coming down personally to pay their tribute to Ramoji Rao at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. Elaborate arrangements are already in place to cater to the thronging crowds.

Ramoji Rao Undergoes A Heart Operation

Ramoji Rao, who has been under treatment for a long time was admitted to a premiere hospital on May 5 in Hyderabad. At the hospital, around 4.50 AM, he breathed his last, reportedly.

The veteran suffered from severe respiratory issues for a long time and was bedridden. When he complained of a heart issue on June 5, the doctors at the Star Hospital administered a stent to his heart. After his condition turned serious on June 7, he was declared dead.

The President-elect Narendra Modi, Venkaiah Naidu, megastar Chiranjeevi, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Jayaprakash Narayana, SS Rajamouli, MM Keeravani, Jr NTR, Rajendra Prasad, Pullela Gopichand, and few others have already paid their final respects at Ramoji Rao's house where his body was displayed for the employees, fans, and the fraternity.

The soon-to-become President of the country, Narendra Modi wrote at length about Ramoji Rao. He said, "The passing away of Shri Ramoji Rao Garu is extremely saddening. He was a visionary who revolutionized Indian media. His rich contributions have left an indelible mark on journalism and the world of films.
