Nani Opens Up About His Role Surya In Saripodhaa Sanivaaram: Vivek Athreya's latest directorial is Natural star Nani's 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram.' The movie is an action entertainer featuring S.J. Suryah and Priyanka Mohan in key roles. After the immense praise the trailer of the movie gained, expectations for the film are soaring.
The movie marks the second collaboration between Vivek Athreya and Nani, along with Nani and Priyanka Mohan. The film is going to be released on August 29 in five languages. Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is Nani's 31st film and is being made on a budget of about Rs 90 Crore. He will be seen in the role of Surya, who saves his anger and unleashes it beyond control on Saturdays.
Saripodhaa Sanivaaram Synopsis
Nani, who already started promoting the film in Chennai spoke about the character Surya that he played in Vivek Athreya's film. He elaborated, "Anger often leads to regret. Sometimes, people get angry for even silly things too. By waiting, we can assess if our anger is justified. I play Surya who waits until Saturday to evaluate his anger and filter out what is not worth it."
He also mentioned, "Surya writes down the names of those who irritated him throughout the week. He strikes those names which are insignificant. If the rage continues, he then goes to thrash the deserving. People assume anger is not good but it is a powerful weapon if the purpose is right."

The movie stars Nani as Surya, Priyanka Mohan as Charu aka Charulatha, S.J. Suryah as R. Dayanand, Murali Sharma as Koormanand, Aditi Balan as Bhadra, Sai Kumar as Surya's father Sankaram, and Subhalekha Sudhakar as Kamalakar, Supreeth as Kaali, Abhirami as Chayadevi, Ajay as Govardhan, Ajay Ghosh as Narayana Prabha among others in prominent roles.

The movie written and directed by Vivek Athreya is produced by DVV Danayya under his DVV Entertainment banner. The film's music and sound are composed by Jakes Bejoy. Murali G. cranked the camera while Karthika Srinivas worked as the film's editor.
