Om Shanti Shanti Shantihi OTT Release: The Telugu comedy-drama Om Shanti Shanti Shantihi, starring Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam and Eesha Rebba in the lead roles, was released in theatres earlier this year. Directed by A. R. Sajeev, the film is the Telugu adaptation of the Malayalam film Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey, which was released in 2022. The story focuses on the experiences of a woman navigating a troubled marriage and the challenges that follow.

Set within a domestic backdrop, the film centres on Kondaveeti Prashanthi, played by Eesha Rebba, and Omkar Naidu, portrayed by Tharun Bhascker. Their relationship forms the core of the narrative as the film examines themes such as gender roles, marital expectations and personal resilience. The film was released in theatres on January 30, 2026.

The plot follows Prashanthi, a young woman who sacrifices several of her personal ambitions in the hope of building a stable life with the man she marries. However, the relationship gradually reveals darker aspects as her husband Omkar displays controlling and aggressive behaviour. Despite presenting himself as supportive in public, his actions inside the household paint a different picture.

As the story progresses, Prashanthi finds herself dealing with emotional and physical abuse while receiving little support from those around her. The narrative then shifts towards her attempts to reclaim control over her life. According to the storyline, she begins quietly working on rebuilding her confidence and independence after a series of personal setbacks.

The film also depicts how Prashanthi's circumstances change after she manages to step away from the cycle of abuse. She gradually establishes a new life and eventually starts a business venture, signalling a turning point in her journey. When the issues surrounding her marriage come to public attention and lead to legal proceedings, she makes an unexpected decision regarding the future of the relationship.

Apart from Tharun Bhascker and Eesha Rebba, the film features a supporting cast that includes Brahmaji, Sivannarayana Naripeddi, Surabhi Prabhavathi and Goparaju Vijay.

Om Shanti Shanti Shantihi is directed and written by A. R. Sajeev. The film has been produced by Srujan Yarabolu, Aditya Pittie, Vivek Krishnani, Anup Chandrasekharan, Sadhik Shaik and Naveen Sanivarapu. The music has been composed by Jay Krish, while Deepak Yaragera handled cinematography. Editing duties were carried out by the director along with his team, with Kalyan Surya Prakash serving as additional editor.

Other members of the technical crew include production designer Vishnu Vardhan Pulla, costume designer Princi Vaidh and dialogue writer Nanda Kishore Emani. Sound design for the film was handled by Sai Maneendhar Reddy, with sound mixing by Santosh Kumar Vodnala.

Following its theatrical run, Om Shanti Shanti Shantihi has now made its digital debut. The film began streaming on the OTT platform Aha Video on March 4, allowing viewers to watch the Telugu-language drama from home.
