5 Most Awaited Bollywood Movies Releasing In Summer 2025

Jaat (2025) is an upcoming action thriller starring Sunny Deol, directed by Gopichand Malineni. The film follows a powerful protagonist taking on a ruthless antagonist, played by Randeep Hooda. Featuring high-octane action and intense drama, the movie also stars Regina Cassandra, Vineet Kumar Singh, Jagapathi Babu, and Ramya Krishnan. The movie is all set to release in theaters on April 10, 2025.

The Bhootnii is an upcoming Hindi-language horror-comedy directed by Sidhaant Sachdev, featuring Sanjay Dutt as a ghostbuster confronting supernatural entities, including a character portrayed by Mouni Roy. The film also stars Sunny Singh, Palak Tiwari, and Beyounick in pivotal roles. Scheduled for a theatrical release on April 18, 2025. 

Kesari Chapter 2 is an upcoming historical drama based on Jallianwala Bagh directed and written by Karan Singh Tyagi, featuring Akshay Kumar, in lead role. The film also stars an extensive supporting cast, including Ananya Panday, Madhavan, Sammy Jonas Heaney and many more. Following the conclusion of the life of C Sankaran Nair, a lawyer and former President of the Indian National Congress, who also fought for the truth behind the Jallianwala Bagh. Akshay Kumar's 'Kesari 2' set for April 18 release in theaters.

Raid 2 is a Bollywood drama, helmed by Rajkumar Gupta. The movie will be a sequel to Raid and Ajay Devgn will be seen as an IRS officer with Vaani Kapoor. Whereas after a long time, the audience will see Riteish Deshmukh in a villain avatar against the lead of the movie. Raid 2 is set to release in theaters on 1st May 2025. 

After the publication of the series's previous installment in 2019, the franchise's creators promised that it would continue, but they didn't confirm any rumors about its release or production. On June 30, 2023, four years after the previous release, Akshay Kumar shared the news with his followers on social media along with the movie's poster. Riteish Deshmukh will appear in Housefull 5, released on Diwali in 2024 but the official date has been changed, and the release date has been scheduled for June 6, 2025.
