Garudan Box Office Collection: Hit or Flop, Review & More

Suresh Gopi in the lead role, the movie Garudan made a decent start on day 1 of its release. The film which was released on November 3 earned morethan 1 crore at the domestic box office. The film was directed by debutant Arun Varma and scripted by Midhun Manuel Thomas. Apart from Suresh Gopi, Garudan also has a stellar cast including Biju Menon, Abhirami, Divya Pillai, Thalaivasal Vijay, Nishanth Sagar, Jagadish and Dileesh Pothan.

The film offers a straightforward yet engaging storyline that delivers an enhanced cinematic experience, thanks to a strong screenplay and stellar performances. Garudan is reportedly crafted within a budget of approximately Rs 7 Crores, which included all of the film’s expenses. The movie was formally announced in April 2023, and its principal photography was conducted from May to August 2023 in Kochi. The script for the movie, written by Midhun Manuel Thomas and produced by Listin Stephen, under his production company Magic Frames.

The movie performed well at the box office on the opening day and is expected to do well in the coming days. As for its digital release, the filmmakers have not yet announced any official details about Garudan's OTT premiere. However, there are speculations that it may become streaming on the OTT platform approximately one month after its theatrical release.
