In Cold Light is a 2025 Canadian crime thriller directed by Maxime Giroux. In In Cold Light, Maika Monroe plays Ava, a woman trying to start a new life after getting out of prison. When she goes back to her hometown, she sees a corrupt cop kill her twin brother and then blame her for it. Ava is forced to run while both the police and a dangerous crime boss, played by Helen Hunt, chase her. To prove she is innocent, she takes help from her estranged father, played by Troy Kotsur, and tries to uncover the truth.
