Barun Sobti reprises his role as Assistant Sub-Inspector Amarpal Garundi in Kohrra Season 2. Returning from the first season, Garundi is now posted at the Dalerpura Police Station, where he tries to make a fresh start while continuing to grapple with the ghosts of his past.

Mona Singh joins Kohrra Season 2 as Sub-Inspector Dhanwant Kaur, a strong and determined new lead who serves as Garundi’s commanding officer and heads the investigation. Her entry marks a major shift this season, as she replaces Savinderpal Vicky, bringing a fresh dynamic to the storyline.

Rannvijay Singha appears as Preet’s husband, emerging as one of the key suspects in the murder investigation. Suspicion quickly turns toward her NRI husband, who lives in the United States with their children and is believed to have been in a troubled, possibly abusive marriage with Preet, while investigators also examine angles involving her brother and her dance partner.

Pooja Bhamrrah plays Preet Bajwa, the woman whose murder sets the story of Kohrra Season 2 in motion. The season opens with the shocking discovery of her body in her brother’s barn, triggering an intense investigation that soon exposes deep-rooted secrets within her family and the surrounding community.

The circle of suspects also includes her close dance partner and her brother, played by Anurag Arora, who owns the barn where Preet’s body is discovered, further deepening the mystery.

Kohrra Season 2 is set to premiere on February 11, 2026, exclusively on Netflix, bringing a gripping new investigation to the small town of Dalerpura, Punjab. The season revolves around the murder of Preet Bajwa (Pooja Bhamrrah), with Barun Sobti returning as Amarpal Garundi, now transferred from Jagrana and struggling with his past, while Mona Singh joins as the tough new Sub-Inspector Dhanwant Kaur. The ensemble cast also features Rannvijay Singha, Anurag Arora, and Prayrak Mehta, with Paatal Lok creator Sudip Sharma serving as showrunner and making his directorial debut alongside Faisal Rahman.
