Subedaar is set to premiere directly on Amazon Prime Video. The much-awaited action drama starring Anil Kapoor will skip a theatrical release and stream exclusively on the OTT platform. Subedaar will be released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, allowing audiences across different regions to enjoy the film in their preferred language.

Subedaar is set in Madhya Pradesh and follows Arjun, a former soldier who returns home to find his village trapped in corruption and illegal sand mining. While trying to live a simple life as a chauffeur, he struggles with personal grief and a broken relationship with his daughter Shyama, played by Radhikka Madan. However, constant threats from ruthless criminals like Prince (Aditya Rawal) and Babli Didi (Mona Singh) push him to fight back. The film highlights themes of honour, pride and redemption, summed up in Arjun’s powerful line: “Fauji hai, seene mein goli jhel sakte hai, beizzati nahi.”
