Dulquer Salmaan starrer King Of Kotha's teaser was the first ever Malayalam movie teaser to cross the  prestigious 9 Million views in Youtube. The teaser gives a hint of an intense lead character played by Dulquer Salmaan, who is covered in blood and is seen taking down his rivals in electrifying action sequences. The period film, mounted on a huge scale, is produced by Wayfarer Films and Zee Studios. King of Koth also marks the directorial debut movie of Abhilash Josihy.

The Malaikottai Vaaliban teaser has emerged as the most-viewed Malayalam movie teaser, with 8.2 million views in 24 hours. Directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery, the film is a period action film written by PS Rafeeque. The film also features Mohanlal, Sonalee Kulkarni, Hareesh Peradi, Danish Sait, Manikandan R Achari and Hariprashanth Varma in lead roles.

The action-adventure movie 'Muddy'  on the top three position on this list. The film's teaser was released in 2021 and has got 7 Million views in a single day. The film is written and directed by Dr Pragabhal and is produced  by Prema Krishnadas.

The teaser of director Abrid Shine's upcoming film Mahaveeryar, featuring actor Nivin Pauly and Asif Ali in the lead, was unveiled on April 3, 2022. The teaser of Mahaveeryar received 6 million views on YouTube.

Prithviraj Sukumaran - Nayanthara starrer ‘Gold’ as it has  received over 5 million views in 20 hours. Gold marks Alphonse Puthren’s directorial comeback after a gap of seven years. His last movie was Premam, starring Nivin Pauly in the lead role. The movie became a huge hit in 2015.
