The highly anticipated Gujarati psychological horror film Vash Level 2 is finally making its way to OTT after a successful theatrical run. A sequel to the 2023 hit Vash, the film continues to delve into the eerie world of black magic, fear, and revenge. Vash: Level 2 (2025) is a Gujarati supernatural thriller written and directed by Krishnadev Yagnik, serving as the sequel to the 2023 hit Vash, later remade in Hindi as Shaitaan. The film stars Janki Bodiwala as Aarya, Hitu Kanodia as Atharva, and Hiten Kumar in a dual role as Pratap/Rajnath, alongside Monal Gajjar, Prem Gadhavi, and others. Produced by Kalpesh K. Soni and Krunal Soni, with Nilay Chotai as co-producer, the movie features cinematography by Prashant Gohel and Haresh S. Bhanushali and editing by Shivam Bhatt.
Vash Level 2 continues the story of Atharva (Hitu Kanodia) and his daughter Aarya (Janki Bodiwala), twelve years after he saved her from the dark magician Pratap (Hiten Kumar). Though Aarya survives, she remains in a catatonic, ghost-like state, while a new wave of terror emerges as schoolgirls display violent, puppet-like behavior under sinister control. Atharva must confront Pratap once again as the evil escalates from his family to the wider community. The film explores Atharva’s psychological struggle and his battle against mind-controlling dark forces to save the town.
Vash Level 2 concluded its theatrical run with an estimated ₹13.54 crore in India. The film’s worldwide gross reached around ₹13.88 crore, with a net collection of approximately ₹11.78 crore. While it managed to recover its production budget, the movie fell short of the ₹16 crore mark needed for a “hit” status.
