Dhruva Sarja is an Indian film actor who predominantly works in the Kannada film industry. He landed a role in the highly successful film Addhuri, which was released in 2012. For this role, he received numerous accolades, including SIIMA Awards, Udaya Film Awards, and Suvarna Film Awards.
Personal life
Chiranjeevi Sarja, a Kannada movie actor, was Dhruva Sarja's brother and passed away on June 7, 2020. Arjun Sarja, their maternal uncle, is a South Indian actor. In Kannada movies, their grandfather, Shakti Prasad, also performed as an actor.
On December 9, 2018, Dhruva proposed to his childhood friend Prerana. They finally got married on November 25, 2019. The couple had a daughter on October 2, 2022.
Career
Dhruva made his film debut in Addhuri in 2012. His portrayal of Arjun as the male lead opposite Radhika Pandit received praise from critics. In 2013, he signed on to star in his next film, Bahaddur, opposite Pandit once more.
The movie was an enormous success at the box office. He then had a role in the highly acclaimed action comedy Bharjari, which helped him recognise himself as an actor.
