Lakshmi Manchu is a film actress, producer and TV host who predominantly works in Telugu cine industry and she also contributed to a few Kannada, Tamil, and English movies and television shows. For her acting in Telugu films, she has won Filmfare , Nandi , and South Indian International Movie Awards . She gained notoriety because to her well-liked celebrity chat programme, Lakshmi talk show. Personal Life Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna born 8 October 1977 to actor Mohan Babu and Vidya Manchu in Chennai. Vishnu Manchu and Manoj Manchu are her brothers, Manchu graduated from Oklahoma City University with a bachelor's degree in theatre. In 2006, Manchu wed Andy Srinivasan, an IT specialist from Chennai. The couple's surrogate child was born. They have chosen Hyderabad as their residence. Career In the American tv show Las Vegas, Manchu began acting as James Lesure's love interest, Sarasvati Kumar, in a supporting role. She has additionally starred in advertisements for Chevrolet, AARP, and Toyota. She produced, directed, and performed in the short film Perfect Lives in 2006, which was screened at the Wilshire Fine Arts Cinema as a portion of the La Femme Film Festival in Los Angeles. In 2016, Taher Ali Baig's version of Roald Dahl's Matilda marked her stage debut as Miss Trunchbull. Manchu began her acting career at the age of 4 and has since appeared in 20 Indian feature films and a few modest television appearances. Together with her family, she shares ownership of the production business Sree Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures, which has so far turned out 56 feature films. After a successful audition, she was hired to play a supporting character in Mani Ratnam's Tamil film Kadal in December 2011. She worked on the Telugu movie Jhummandi nadam's production with her little brother, Manoj Manchu. She is now appearing in a Walt Disney film.
