Dune 3 Story
Dune 3 is the final chapter in Denis Villeneuve's Dune trilogy, based on Frank Herbert's 1969 novel Dune Messiah. Following the success of the previous two films Dune: Part One (2021) and Dune: Part Two (2024), which adapted Herbert's groundbreaking 1965 novel Dune—this installment brings the epic saga to a close.
Dune: Part Two was released in 2024 and performed impressively at the box office, grossing over $630 million worldwide. The film features an all-star cast, including Timothee Chalamet, Zendaya, Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Dave Bautista, Stellan Skarsgård, Charlotte Rampling, and Javier Bardem.
Release Date
Dune 3 will be released in theaters on December 18, 2026.
