The Roses Story
The Roses is a satirical black comedy directed by Jay Roach, starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Olivia Colman, Andy Samberg, and Kate McKinnon in the lead roles.
The screenplay, penned by Tony McNamara, is adapted from Warren Adler’s 1981 novel The War of the Roses. The film is backed by producers Adam Ackland, Leah Clarke, Ed Sinclair, Tom Carver, Jay Roach, and Michelle Graham, with Florian Hoffmeister handling cinematography, Jon Poll in charge of editing, and music scored by Theodore Shapiro.
Release Date
The Roses will be released in theaters on August 29, 2025.
