Maanaadu Story
Maanaadu (aka) Manadu is a Tamil political action thriller movie directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by Suresh Kamatchi. The movie stars Simbu as Abdul Khaaliq and Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead roles while SJ Surya, Bharathiraja, S. A. Chandrasekhar, Karunakaran and Premgi Amaren plays in supporting roles. The soundtrack is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, while cinematography and editing are handled by Richard M. Nathan and Praveen KL respectively.
Madhan Karky pen lyrics for all the songs in the movie, the first single "Meherezylaa" of the movie Maanaadu was released on 21 June 2021. Maanadu was earlier scheduled for a theatrical release on 14 May 2021 (Eid-al-Fitr) but due to the extensive post-production activities the film's released was postponed to August 2021, later the movie scheduled to release on November 4, 2021 on the eve of Diwali. Finally, the film is scheduled to be released on 25 November 2021.
Story
The film Maanaadu story is about Abdul Khaaliq (Silambarasan TR), who comes to Coimbatore from Dubai to help his friends marriage and he gets into a time-loop where he really wants to forestall the state Chief Minister Arivazhagan's (SA Chandrasekar) public meeting. Assuming he doesn't forestall the mishap, it would prompt a significant issue. Dhanushkodi (SJ Suryah) and Y Gee Mahendran are the driving forces of the mishap and Abdul Khaaliq chooses to clash against them. How does Abdul Khaaliq utilize the time-loop trap to stop the accident and save the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister is what's truly going on with Maanaadu.
