Lucky Baskhar Story
Lucky Baskhar is a Telugu suspense drama family movie directed by Venky Atluri. The film casts Dulquer Salmaan and Meenakshi Chaudhary in the main lead roles along with Saikumar, Sachin Khedekar, Tinnu Anand, Surya Sreenivas, Hyper Aadi, Ayesha Khan, and many others seen in supporting roles. The music was composed by GV Prakash Kumar while the cinematography was done by Nimish Ravi and it is edited by Navin Nooli. The film is jointly produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments, Fortune Four Cinemas banners.
Story
Bhaskar (Dulquer Salmaan) is a cashier at Magadha Bank, leading a modest, middle-class life with a meager salary. Burdened by family responsibilities and enduring humiliation from his in-laws for marrying out of love, he spends his days without much hope. Just when he thinks a promotion is out of reach, he unexpectedly lands the position of Assistant General Manager. During this time, he becomes acquainted with Anthony (Ramki), who introduces him to the world of illicit earnings. Soon enough, Bhaskar begins indulging in corrupt practices, eventually drawing the attention of the CBI, who start preparing for an inquiry.
Did Sumathi (Meenakshi Chaudhary) marry Bhaskar despite his poor financial state? What corrupt activities did Bhaskar engage in within the bank under Anthony’s influence? How did he misuse bank funds after his promotion? How did his association with stock market king Harsha Mehra lead him into trouble? Did Bhaskar cooperate with the CBI investigation? Did he bow to the demand of the CBI officer (Saikumar) to return the 100 crores in his possession? The story of Lucky Bhaskar unfolds to answer how Bhaskar, who struggled with extreme debt, ultimately transformed into “Lucky Bhaskar.”
