Rajpal Yadav is currently serving a six-month prison sentence at Delhi’s Tihar Jail as of February 12, 2026. He surrendered on February 5 after the Delhi High Court rejected his request for more time to repay a loan linked to a ₹9 crore cheque bounce case. His legal team has filed for interim bail, with a hearing scheduled for February 12, citing a family wedding as one of the reasons.

Salman Khan has spent around 20 to 21 days in jail across different cases, mostly at Jodhpur Central Jail. Between 1998, 2006, and 2007, he spent about 18 days in custody in poaching-related cases. In April 2018, he was sentenced to five years in the blackbuck poaching case and spent two nights in jail before getting bail. He is currently out on bail while his appeal is still pending. In the 2002 hit-and-run case, he was convicted in 2015 but later acquitted by the Bombay High Court.

Sanjay Dutt was first arrested in April 1993 under the TADA and Arms Act for illegal possession of weapons and spent about 18 months in jail before getting bail. In 2007, he was convicted under the Arms Act and briefly returned to prison. However, the Bombay High Court later admitted his appeal and granted him bail in April 2011, after which he was released. He remains out on bail while his appeal against the conviction is still pending.
