Biju Menon and Asif Ali join forces once again after three years in Thalavan, a cop-thriller that premiered on May 24, 2024. Directed by Jis Joy, the film is co-written by Sharath Perumbavoor and Anand Thevarakkattu, and produced by Arun Narayan and Sijo Sebastian under Arun Narayan Productions, in association with London Studios.

As per recent reports, Thalavan began streaming on Sony LIV on September 9, 2024. The movie is available in five languages on the platform, including the original Malayalam version, along with dubbed versions in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.
