Kritika Kamra is an Indian actress known for her work across television, films, and digital platforms. She first gained widespread recognition on Indian television and later transitioned successfully into films and web series. Over the years, she has built a reputation for portraying diverse characters in romantic dramas, thrillers, and socially relevant stories. Early Life and Education Kritika Kamra was born on October 25, 1988 , in Bareilly . She comes from a well-educated family; her father, Ravi Kamra , is a doctor, while her mother, Kumkum Kamra , served as a school principal.  She completed her schooling at Delhi Public School Vasant Kunj in New Delhi. Before entering the entertainment industry, she pursued Fashion Communication at the National Institute of Fashion Technology in New Delhi. Career Kritika Kamra rose to fame in 2009 with her role as Arohi Sharma in the popular television drama Kitani Mohabbat Hai , which made her a household name. She later appeared in several successful shows, including Kuch Toh Log Kahenge , where she played Dr. Nidhi, and Reporters , portraying the character Ananya. In 2018, she made her Bollywood debut with the film Mitron , playing the role of Avni. In recent years, Kamra has shifted toward digital platforms, appearing in acclaimed web series such as Tandav , Hush Hush , and Bombay Meri Jaan . Apart from acting, she hosted MTV Webbed (Season 2), a program focused on raising awareness about cybercrime, and has also featured in several short films and music videos. Personal Life On March 11, 2026 , Kritika Kamra married Gaurav Kapur in a private ceremony held at his residence, marking a new chapter in her personal life.
