Devika Story

Devika is a Malayalam thriller film directed by Jibin George James, featuring Maanav and Athira Madhav in the lead roles.

The screenplay is penned by Sivaprasad Ramachandran Ikkara, and S Sarangapani produces the film under the banner of Focus Film Studio. Alongside Maanav and Athira Madhav, the cast includes Gayathri Suresh, Rajan Idukki, Ardra Das, and Sreekanth S. The technical team consists of Jithin Francis handling the camera, Jobins Sebastian managing the editing, and music composed by Libeesh Pereekkad.


Movie Plot
Devika follows the story of a young model who accuses of being raped during a film audition, while her friend argues their encounter was consensual. As the truth unfolds through an interview, the film critiques society’s limited and judgmental views of women, often based on their appearance and behavior. It calls for the recognition of women as independent individuals with equal rights. The narrative urges viewers to reconsider their biases and reflect on the subjectivity of truth, challenging preconceived notions and societal judgments.
